Maegly Grocery Photo
Taken In 1910

Dear Editor:
Thanks so much for publishing the photo of the Maegly Grocery in Bromley, Kenton County, Kentucky, on the cover of the May 2011 issue of The Kentucky Explorer. I have received several calls and letters from people who knew my grandparents, the owners of the store. Some of the correspondence was from people I did not know.
When I submitted the photo, the info. I provided stated the photo was from 1930, but it was taken ca. 1910.
I was amazed to find out how many Northern Kentucky people receive The Explorer and share the love of the old Kentucky past.
Again, thanks, and I am looking forward to future issues.
