James M. Steed, 2465 Eastway Drive, Lexington, KY 40503, shares this photo taken in the late 1920s of his mother, Elizabeth Jean McLeod, riding Prince at the Grasmere Farm located in Fayette County, Kentucky.

Nathan Gregory, 37789 Palomares Road, Castro Valley, CA 94552; wa40tj@gmail.com, shares this photo of an unknown group of men taken ca. 1910, possibly in southern Fleming County or northern Bath County, Kentucky. The photo belonged to Nathan's aunt, Eva Lee Gregory Smith, who died in 1984. Some of the families represented in the photo could be Porters, Skeans, and Gregorys. Nathan writes: "I have photos of younger Skean family members, and the family resemblance of a couple of men in this photo is strong. Sarah Skeans married my great-uncle, Jefferson P. Gregory, in 1883. I would like to connect with anyone who knows anything about the Skeans family. Jefferson died in 1916. His son, Milner Smith Gregory, married his brother's daughter, Eva Lee Gregory, in 1909. Jefferson's brother, Joseph Hampton Gregory, was my grandfather. He is perhaps in the photo. The Porter family was always close to the Skeans family. After Joseph's father died he lived with the family of Thomas Porter in the 1880s.

June Williamson, P. O. Box 210, Sidney, Ky 41564, shares this photo of her great-great-grandparents, Martin and Celia Bevins Smith, parents of John "Pocket" Smith. Date and place of photo not given.
