Here are a few queries from October 2010

Wants Info. On
Edgar Paul Bowman

Dear Editor:
The Kentucky Explorer is the best magazine out there. I enjoy it and often turn to the magazine for help.
I have an uncle who served in the U. S. Army during the early 1950s. I don't know every much about his service, as he never talked about it. I would truly like to know much more.
I am searching for any veteran who knew my uncle and served with him. As I said, I don't know much.
My uncle was Edgar Paul Bowman, and in April 1952 he was attached to Company "F" 502nd Airborne Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, Camp Breckinridge Kentucky. He later served in Korea. This is all the information I know about him.
I would like to hear from any veteran who knew and served with Paul.
Keep up the excellent work for Kentuckians.

Words To Song Wanted
Dear Editor:
I was wondering if anyone has the words to a song I heard Roy Acuff sing on the Grand Ole Opry back in the 1940s entitled "I Called And Nobody Answered."
