Gosney's Saloon, Campbell County, ca. 1900

Ivan K. Baker, Louisville, Kentucky, shares this treasured tin-type photo of his uncle, Kirby Smith (in the buggy), in front of Gosney's Saloon, Grant's Lick, Campbell County, Kentucky, ca. 1900. The building is still being used today as a tavern and looks much like it did in 1900. Kirby married Mary Pearl Baker in 1904. They had a foster son named Carl Bryan.
