in Tenn. and lived in Bedford Co., near Shelbyville. They sold the farm
there in 1844 and moved to Marshall Co. in 1845.

Searching for info. on Fieldings Carpenter, b. ca. 1828,
m. Mary Rister on 5/19/1848, Carter Co. 1850 census shows they had 2 sons,
John (my grandfather) and Patterson. 1860 census shows Mary with John,
Richard, and Isaac. No further trace of Fieldings or Patterson. Mary Carpenter
m. Francis Marion Wilburn, 3/17/1864, had one son, Marian who m. Nannie
Montgomery, lived in Russell, Ky., until his death in 1913, "killed
by a train." John, Marian and Nannie's son, went out west. A dau.,
Zuda, m. a Runyon.

to Will Rodgers, and they lived their adult lives and d. in Frankfort,
Franklin Co. Mary had a sister, Lula, who m. Will's brother, Walter. Want
any info. on the Duvall-Rodgers family line. Also like to know who parents/siblings
were of the Buchanan man hung in Wolfe Co., late 1800s. We believe he is
a relative of Ella Buchanan Peck (my husband's grandmother) and would like

My g.g. grandfather, John Thompson, is on 1860 Taylor
Co. census, #77, farmer, age 36, b. in Ky. Also listed are his wife, Elizabeth,
age 23, and 7 children: Martha, 10; Nancy, 8; James, 6; Wm., 4, Arnold,
2; Robert 1; and Sally, 3 mos. Later listed on 1870 Taylor Co. census,
#138, age 47, with wife, Bettie, and 13 children. I don't know what part
of Ky. they came from, his or her parents, when or where they married,
or her maiden name. Where could they have gone? My g. grandfather, William,
b. 10/13/1854, d. 3/18/1897, was only one left. He settled in Green Co.

My father (Anderson) was from Grayson Co., and my mother
(Stewart) was from Edmonson Co. I'm looking for Daniel K. Anderson's siblings'
families and parents. Believe he was b. in Tenn. before 1815. His mother
was a Cherokee Indian and lived to age 117. Aren't sure which state she
d. in. My grandmother, Rose Anna Stewart Durbin, m. Martin B. Durbin. They
moved to Mo. after 1900, she d. and was buried there. She was Catholic,
b. 1864. My mother was 8 mos old when the 1900 census was taken. She doesn't
remember her mother, so she d. before 1904.
